6 Series Headlight Question (F06/F12/F13)

An annoyingly large bug has crawled into my headlight and died......
I have no idea how it got in, but if it got in, it should be removable!
I have opened the upper circular cap easily accessible but this doesnt get into the front of the unit where the bug is.
Has anyone else encountered this and if so whats the best route to removal?

I presume it may be similar to my old E60 sealed head lamps - I have an internal lens fall off after an impact with a pheasant and rather than pay BMW a grand to replace it i looked into it myself...
I found that the lamp unit was easily removable by undoing just 4 screws (5 minutes work that BMW wanted another £500 for) then I was able to remove the bulb covers and access from there - You may find the same will allow you to turn the lamp upside down and shake the bug out.
