I've been looking around for a 330i coupe as it ticks all the boxes. They're rare but I'm biding my time for now....

In the meantime this has come up reasonably close by.

I'm a massive fan of the 6, but have always been led to believe that you can't get a bike rack on it, and with the rear seats not folding it's not that viable to get one in it either. Am I correct there? If there is a way then I may have a venture out.

There is no roof rack solution for the 6 series, so as far as roof mounted carriers go, you're out of luck. You could go for the towbar option, which means putting a towbar on there. There are more options, but if you got a removable bar, it won't be visible when stored. I'd recommend the electrics and a light board too - i.e. do it properly, not like 95% of them you see on UK roads with the lights & numberplate of the car obscured.

The 6 series he linked to has the sunroof (which is a big affair on the E63) so I'm not sure these suckers are an option.

Don't think that will be an issue, seasuckers are pretty hard to shift.

I don't doubt it - I just wouldn't trust the sunroof it's stuck to!

A bike will go in the boot if you take the wheels off.
