x5 e53 3.0d variations

Does anybody know if there are many variations of the auto transmission and transfer box?
I have two 2003 x5 3.0d and finding out if I can easily take one of one and put on the other

Also does anybody know if there are many different ratio differentials ?? Mine doesn't have the label with the radio on it

Use realoem.com and your VIN numbers to check the part numbers of the parts you want to swap.

At some point in the life of the X53 the AWD system changed significantly but I don't recall when. Consider joining xoutpost.com
