We're selling our E91 for which we have a set of summer tyres/wheels and a set of winter tyres/wheels.

If we keep the winter tyres/wheels, will they fit on the F31?

Thanks for your advice!

Depends what offset the wheels in question are, the rears may be an issue - as I am sure the F30's have a wider track than E90's, maybe wrong though.

May fit, but may look odd.

The old wheels on the E91 were 18" light alloy Star-spoke style 287.

The wheels on the new F Touring are 19" Double-spoke 704M.

Would be very grateful for any advice. BMW Customer Information Team say they can't help! Amazing!

They ought to fit - E9* and F3* 3 Series have very similar offsets.

The only potential issue is whether they will clear the brakes - an E9* 330i needs at least 17s for that reason.

But if your winters are 18s I would have thought they would be OK on an F31.

This might help too:- https://www.willtheyfit.com/

Especially if you have the M-Sport/M-Performance brakes, which limits wheel fitment considerably.

The style 287 wheel as fitted to the E91 was a staggered fitment on the E91; 8x18 with a 34mm offset front wearing 225/40-18 tyres, and 8.5x18 with a 39mm offset rear wearing 255/35-18 tyres. Can you confirm this is what your E91 was wearing, or do you have a square set up - i.e 8x18 all round with 225/40-18's?
On the F31, it appears that 18in wheels have the same offsets as your current fronts (34mm) all round, so a square set-up on the F31 Touring, with 225/45-18 all round.

Not sure what you mean - you have a staggered set-up with the wider rears? If so it's not advisable to fit that set-up on the F31.
Definitely different tyre sizes on the F31 compared to the E91 anyhow.
I'd suggest you hold on to them until October/November, then advertise them.

I thought you wanted to know if your 18in winters would fit on your new car? It's their wheel size that's relevant, not what's on your new F31.
