Tyre pressure

Call me stupid but how do you figure out the correct tyre pressure.

There is a plate on the door-sill with lots of figures etc, I worked out that you need the tyre size and read the approriate figures but still its all complicated.

Can someone pls explain.

Here's mine:


So find your tyre size (or sizes, in the event of different sizes front & rear).
Decide if you want to inflate for normal use, or if you're going on holidays with the kitchen sink (fully loaded) - these are indicated by the max 3 people, or 5 people plus cases.
There are 2 figures given in each case - as pointed out by the car diagram - namely front & rear tyres.
Inflate to the figure given (which is in Bar). For PSI, multiply Bar by 14.5.
