I have an E92 330d stage 1 with Nexen N’Fera SU1 tyres that it came with. Traction control flashes up all the time under acceleration even on the motorway if I go to overtake something unless I’m really really light on the accelerator then traction control kicks in and disables cruise control (annoying).
I can’t decide between Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric @ £200, Pirelli P Zero @ £216 or Michelin Pilot Sport 4 @ £238. Prices are for 2 tyres (going to change rear only) in 245/35/18.
Would any of these be noticeably better than my current Nexen? And is there a significant difference between the cheapest Goodyears or the most expensive Michelins?
Cheers

Should add that with the nexen tyres I was going down the street in town last week, it was raining the roads were wet, came to a crawl as the vehicle in front of me was waiting to turn right and when I went to accelerate back up to 30 (so not even that hard) I lost my back end.. going completely straight. The nexen really are dangerous and utter s

te See I'm a big fan of the Nexen N'Fera SU1s; but I drive petrols and never had a high torque spec oil burner, so I'd say therein lies your issues.
I'm a big fan of Vredestein Ultrac Vorti and Uniroyal RainSport 3 tyres; see if Camskill or Tyreleader do them in the sizes you need. They're usually the best 2 for prices on the market, you just need to get them fitted locally
I'm running PS4's currently on my 530i and TBH; I'm not massively keen on them, they're noisy, crashy and now they're down to c6mm all round, they feel like they've gone very hard (that'll be where they get their mileage from IMO).
I'm going back to the Vred's once I've decided whether to get my current alloys refurbed or treat myself to some new alloys!

Fairly sure you should be going for a 255/35/18, not a 245 section on the rear. That won’t be helping with your current traction issues either.
One thing I will say further - these cars are very sensitive to balance front-to-rear. I wouldn’t just replace the rears, I’d get the fronts done too with the same brand, whichever type you end up going for. If there’s a large grip differential between the axles, it’ll most likely feel worse than it does now!
Michelin would be my preference, they may be more, but last longer too, so it balances out, there’s only slight percentages between the top brands, based on where they do the focus e.g. wet grip or dry handling, etc.
