Yep the damn things have been playing up on what is my generally trusty workhorse.

All of a sudden the drivers switches stopped working then a few days later fine again. This keeps happening on and off but this time it seems to be a bit more stubborn.

All other window switches work, just not the four on the drivers panel. I do get a few other random things electrically like parking sensor loses its beep and not sure DSC ever works.

I can live with those but no windows is a pain at KFC! smile

Any ideas? Wiring or switch panel possibly? Wing mirrors buttons work fine.

I would suspect the door loom wiring is wearing through, i.e. the flexible joint between the front of the door & the a-pillar; difficult to inspect though.

Or even oxidation in the connector. Unplug, spray some electrical contact spray and then plug/unplug it a few more times to remove any oxidation on the contact areas. Then unplug again and allow to dry fully.
