Hi just bought new wheels and tyres for my 335d the sensors work in respect that the car recognised them but there is no actual reading I.e my old ones would say how many bar was in each wheel. With the new ones there is no reading, how do I remedy this?

If there’s no reading how do you know they’ve been recognised?

As far as I know there’s no difference in the valves for direct TPM systems that show readings and those that don’t, so if they’re recognised it should all work as before.

Have you reset the system?

Ensure pressures are what you want by a manual gauge used at each valve.
Get in car, in the iDrive controller select
‘My vehicle’
Scroll down to vehicle status and select.
Select ‘perform reset’
Drive off
It will not set the pressures until you have travelled a few miles - a percentage complete number should show as it resets. If you stop, it should resume resetting, if not, repeat.

I found with mine it can take up to 15 miles of driving before they register.

Because it say there recognised, the wheels go green on the display.
Probably need to check the pressures 🤔
