BMW sales events - Gimmick or good deals
Discussion
I’m in the market for a ex demo/management car but in no rush, anyone get a really good deal because of it?
I know all the bs about being hand selected, but before I went on holiday I had my eye on a nearly new 5 series, shed load of 530i’s around, came back off holiday and all sold, dealership said they had a weekend ‘event’ and sold the lot.
I’ve read that it’s worth trying to do a deal at the end of a sales quarter if dealer need to make up numbers, however how do you know when the quarter ends?

Hi ..the next quarter Q3 ends end of september. You may find this interesting. https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Seems to me most people on PH just think these events are gimmick and they may well be but having just been to my dealer for a service they had some cars there that had been on that weekends event and sticker price seemed very good providing you are not looking for specific options colours etc they may be worth a look
