I just came across this on the options list. Does anyone here know much about it. Will it be as good as my dash cam and does it record movement around the car? For me it’s important that the systems records while the car’s parked in case of vandalism or parking scrapes.

It doesn't sound that great, from what I've read -

- If you crash, it will record the 20 seconds either side of it.

- If you manually tell it to record, it will do the same.

As explained above it's a buffered recording for events triggered automatically or manually - from memory I had to tick this to get the 360 park assist.
It's not going to do what you want it to

Sounds it doesn’t work while the car is parked so won’t record if hit in a car park or vandalised. My current dash cam records any movement around the car when it’s parked.

Shame.
