BMW NA Direct injection injectors
Discussion
Both my daughters have petrol 120i coupes and are both are having engine light problems due to dirty injectors.
They are about £200 each a pop plus labour.
Is this a thing with the 2.0 BM engine ?
They do a lot of stop start city driving sadly.
Just tried some injector cleaner in the fuel.
Any other suggestions ?
Avoid supermarket fuel ?
Anyone that can clean them ? Seems most of the regular injector cleaning companies won’t touch the direct injection type.
Many thanks

Is it definitely dirty injectors?
I ask because some DI cars suffer with carbon fouling of valves causing misfires/poor running & the answer to that one is a walnut blast.
Having said that, if it is just dirty injectors google for your local Bosch Injector Specialist, you should be able to get them all cleaned & tested for the price of one.

The injectors on the N43/53 are reknown for being utterly useless.
