Why are new front end treatments so ugly??Grilles look like bought in poundshop

I quite like the style of the grills, it's the size/orientation that just doesn't work.

Because BMW are sacrificing their heritage, and pandering to fashion!

The copying of the Mercedes Benz squares in the grill instead of bars is bad enough, but this new fashion for cartoon like oversized grills is just ridiculous!

FWD 1 Series buyers yesterday:

I messaged BMW directly on their instagram account, and remarked about their current fashion for ridiculous, cartoon-like oversized grills pointing out that, whilst they looked fine on a 1930's BMW 328 BMW, they look stupid on modern BMW's, and were actually putting me off buying a modern BMW.

Out of everybody who put a comment on their page, I was about the only person they didn't bother replying too!

(Too be fair, looking at the responses given by BMW on instagram, they appear to be automated, robotised answers, so perhaps the system's algorithms simply aren't designed to respond to criticism about how their cars look? )
