Style 37s - colour ideas for their refurb
Discussion
No longer selling these; apart from a nice set of 19" BBS CH-Rs, I cannot find another alloy that I really like and I think Style 32s in 18" would look lost, but certainly not going to 20" alloys
However, I cannot justify spending c£2300 on CH-Rs and tyres!
So, I'm going to get my 37s refurbed over winter whilst I'm running the Style 66s and winter tyres.
I'd like some sensible colour suggestions; there's a possibility that I may get the lips polished too, but may go for an all over powder coat like they have now, but finished much better and a brighter looking silver, maybe. I've always like the finish on these 37s

I love the look of this titan touring, but I won't run that low due to speed bumps etc:

FYI I'm NOT interested in fully diamond cut 37s, I personally don't like that finish

Yeah, I really like anthracite or a gun metallic grey with a sparkle lacquer etc, but IMO the Style 37s don't suit a darker colour, more so because of their deep lip (these are a bit wider than standard E39 37s).
Ive seen a few cars with darker 37s on and they look a bit lost unfortunately
Those you've pictured look like CSLs and they suit the colour as they're not lipped

I think it has to be a dark grey, maybe Orbit grey...

Just not black, or if it is, satin black, not gloss.
Otherwise it is stick with silver.
Yeah; certainly won't be going down the black route, not with OEM alloys at least. Lots of nice aftermarket alloys out there in satin black that I really like; if I were to splurge on the CH-Rs, they'd be in satin black with the polished stainless rim.

I thought you had been looking for some Style 37s for a while?
How come now you have them you don't know what to do with them?
I've had them for ages pal; was looking to sell them on, but think I'll keep them and refurb them to a colour of my choice instead of the platinum silver they've been powder coated inHow come now you have them you don't know what to do with them?
