That is insanely low mileage for a car like that.

That's just lovely.

When the E90 was launched, we had a Dolphin grey Sport just like this in the showroom over the weekend and it attracted more interest than the new one. Same with the E63/E64 6 Series and a black 1989 635CSi in 2004.

If that 325i Sport is doing 0~60mph in 9.9 seconds, something is wrong with it!

BMW's official 0~60mph time for the E30 325i was 7.2 seconds (and if I recall correctly, I believe The Autocar magazine had one on test that recorded a 0~60 time of 7.0 seconds "back in the day")

Pity the original owner was too tight to order the 13 button computer, and opted for the poverty-spec clock instead, and the aged wheel badges let the car down (especially for a £30K~£35K + price tag)

That does look to be in remarkable condition. Fantastic cars, I've never really liked a 3-series since.

We had a mint E30 325i convertible, F Reg, in Dolphin grey as a third car around 15 years ago.

Lovely car to drive, but my '03 E46 330ci MSport convertible was marginally better.

I think that every time I see a Ferrari selling for millions of $

It is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. At the end if the day this is museum quality, its never really been driven. I am not who would buy it.

Someone in their fifties who had one new, now has a lot of disposable and can buy one again. They don't want restorations, they want a proper one. Have it in the garage next to whatever else, go out for a run in it twice a month, job done.

It'll sell. It's not a lot of money in the great scheme of things.

When these were out all I could afford was a lowly 316 .. or a R5 GTturbo

I bought the Renault .. but always lusted after a 325i Sport

As a 20 year old a new R5 or a boggo 316 where I even had to pay extra for a radio was not a hard decision tbf

But always lusted after a silver grey 325 Sport

I’d want to drive it .. so spunking £30k+ on this one would’nt be a good idea

I’d rather find one with 50-70k on it with a great history file and enjoy it

I do wonder whether the 6k car has sat unloved on flat tyres in an old garage for the last 20 years

Finding one that had been cared for and done 3-5k a year every year would be my ideal

Would like to have a go in an E30 but the prices have gone bonkers, like old Fords.

I'll have to stick to my E36 I think....

They are not as bad as old fords, the one in my original post is a bit unusual but I was told that my E30 touring in stock condition would be worth about £ 6,000.

The M3's are silly money though.

Mine might be... If I put about £10k into it!

A more used example is also available at the same auction with no reserve.

How I wish I got into one of these when they were sub £5k cars!
