ABS pump help please

Hi there, can any one recommend a company that reconditions ABS pumps please? I have a 2007 335i. I need someone that may operate on an exchange basis, or leave a deposit until mine can be sent to them, I cannot have my car off the road for a week while mine is repaired and refitted. I know a different one needs to be coded in but my garage does have this facility.Thanks

I had an ABS pump fixed for a 750i by these guys, perfect job and very quick:

I ran the car with the pump off for a few days, it still drove fine, but obviously had no ABS and the dash lit up like an Xmas tree........

Ditto, you can easily drive without it. Just wtap something around the connector and the valve group.

great to know that, that's very interesting, I didn't know that but thinking about it my mechanical knowledge probably wouldn't stretch to that so I would be taking time or scrounging lifts twice as I'd have to get the mechanic to take it out and do what you guys said then same again when the pump is sorted, so still the deposit option is the simplest for me. But I will definitely look into that one. I do however know a mobile mechanic who I'm sure could sort it while I'm at work, good one chaps, that's one to think about
