Best Brakes BMW X5 30d 2016
Discussion
I want to know what the best brake pads are for my BMW X5. Need new brakes in 3000 miles and wanted to research and gain others advice. This is for front and rear pads. BMW have quoted an astronomical amount as expected but have not said what make and looking on line I can see they range from £15 a set to £100. I am want to know who would be the best manufacturer. Many thanks
When you say "Best", do you mean best for budget or best outright performance or best every-day?
Personally, I've often found OEM are the 'best' all rounders. Usually heavily discounted on EuroCarParts/Parts4less and the like.. Not sure if they will be even more discounted for Black Friday, or if its just the usual perma-sale prices

Just keep in mind, if you are relying on the idrive system telling you they’re due in 3000 miles they probably have at least double that remaining. The systems on the iDrive are very sensitive, it came on on my mini and they were just only half worn...
Thank you for your comments, I will double check this. tejr said:

Sorry I meant best quality really and performance, I have looked at Bosch and several other makes I've not heard of before and didn't want to buy just because of the brand name if there are better quality makes I should be considering?
