First post on here is a sos call for the roof in my e93.
I’ve had no problems with the roof until the heavy rain started in October-December. Prior to this roof was perfect with no problems.
The first issue the roof is not locking into place in the front where the latches are. You can actually push the roof up from inside the car and this is causing the roof to rattle. You can actually see the roof isn’t aligning in the centre perfectly. I’m not it if someone has tried to force the roof open...
The second issue is water is leaking in the passenger side back (window pillar) and this is going into the boot.
Any help would be great

Water leaking into the boot is apparently usually the rear drain tubes being blocked. You need to remove the bungs I have pictured in that linked thread.
Search YouTube for cleaning out E93 drains, just don’t use mole grips to get the bungs out
Also in that thread are links to the proper BMW instructions to adjusting/ fixing everything to to with the roof.
I hope I’ve fixed all my leaks now, just waiting for it to rain now...

Yes if it's the A pillar drip then ironically you are looking in the wrong place if you are thinking about changing the rear roof seals on the back of the middle part roof and rearmost section , the leak actually starts at the front left and right edges of the middle roof section where the hinged lever folds flat into the recess there is a little tunnel and a rubber seal there which degrades over time and water slips underneath that and trickles down the inside of the cardboard moulded roof lining ,then flows down to the A pillar seal and drips down on to the plastic interior window moulding then it flows down by the side of the seat and forms a pool of water underneath the seats, which gets absorbed by the foam construct of the seat and that's why there is a ton of condensation in your car on any given day . Use good quality window sealant on the parts of the seal that have unglued themselves from the roof moulding and properly pack them with sealant both the horizontal and the vertical seal edges . Take the bottom rear seats out they are on push pull clips and dry them on the radiator for 3 - 4 days. I have been through an awful wet winter this year and in 4 months of almost daily storms , not a single drip on either side and the condensation has obviously disappeared. Good Luck !!
