hi all,

I'm looking at a new i3 on PCP - what's the best deals out there for it? And has anyone managed to get a good deal?

There's clearly not much love for the i3! I'll try the EV section....

There is a lot of love for the i3, but it's in the EV section. There is a dedicated thread in there, you just need to wade through the Tesla threads to find it.

My i3s is great, took it as a company car as the upcoming tax savings make it much cheaper than any pcp deal that I could find.

If you or a family member work in the NHS there are some great deals on EV, including the i3 @£200 per month including maintenance and insurance. There's an NHS lease thread going somewhere if it's of any interest.

Carwow gave a supposed maximum discount of 16% including the Govt subsidy when I looked recently (a dealer in Cambridge 😉). The new BIK rules for 2020/21 are likely to see dealer stock possibly reduce quite a bit & there’s a price increase apparently in April to watch out for that’ll see prices go up by between about £750-850 depending on the model.

There’s a Facebook group for I3 with lots of useful info that’s worth looking at as well.

It might be worth trying to find a pre-registered car and to nail a dealer down on the APR as the current difference is about 4.9% (new car) vs about 12.4% initially quoted on a used car. Supposedly if you get the thumbs screws out you can get the used car APR down to about 8.5% with the screen price of a delivery mileage I3S at say £30k.
