E36 Touring Shocks

Morning,

Passenger side rear shock has gone on my 328i Touring. Its on lowered springs (picture is pre shock failure) - would love to know if anyone has a recommendation for replacement shocks?

I've used most from cheapo ECP Anschler units to expensive Bilstein ones. I'd look for Bilstein B4 or Boge Sachs for the M Technic suspension option. These are shorter and will ensure short rear springs don't fall out.

A pair of B8s would be my choice, but it will make the ride a bit harder.

Got 2 little ones to transport around - this is my daily - so need to keep it smooooooth. If it wasnt for my pesky kids I would be all over that!

Any ideas on a good supplier for these parts? If I can get all 4 corners on a deal I might just do the lot...

I wish they wouldn't call them "shock absorbers" - they're not (in the same way a radiator in a car isn't a radiator). You'd think by now they'd have changed.
