BMW Main Dealer Service cost

Hi

I have a 2017 G31 520d Touring. It's coming up to it's second service, at 32k miles.

Does anyone have an idea of cost for that service?

Reason I ask is that I looked at the local dealer's website which quoted £427 for the most expensive service (which I'd expect to be an 'Inspection 2' service, at the third service interval)

However, the guy I spoke to at the dealer to book it in says it needs a 'major service' which he said was £750.

This seems extremely steep, especially as I was advised not to buy the service pack with the car as I "wouldn't need it" due to the service intervals meaning I wouldn't get value for money.

I'm sure it's just a mistake (they're checking) but thought I'd ask....

We had our 66 plate X4,30d serviced in December.

£472 which was im told the big one with all the filters.

£750 is surely M money.....

I had my F30 335d in for a second service at 35k miles last December, and an MOT at the same time. Essentially this service is just a check plus a brake fluid change.

End of warranty check £0.00
VAT £16.94

Well, a cynic would say they just wrote out an MOT certificate!

Ahhh the standard scope charge bks.... fking BMW. I really do hate their servicing practices with a passion.

But it was washed and vacuumed! I prefer to do my own car washing, but this is the only time the inside is vacuumed (pedals were still dirty though!).

Thanks all

After quoting me £750, I queried it with the guy on the phone and he double checked.

He then came back saying it was actually just due a brake fluid service.

He then wasn’t sure and said he’d get someone to call me back. Naturally, they haven’t

I thought it went

Small service - £
Big service 1 - ££
Small service - £
Big service 2 - £££
Small service - £
Big service 3 - ££££

But maybe that’s outdated with these new-fangled variable servicing setups?
