M8 Conv Lease Deal

Not leased before but my local dealer has given me some pricing on a M8 conv. It will prob be my last ICE car if I go for it. Looking for something fun which will see me through for a while if we can't decide on a new EV. Any thoughts on the deal?

PCH - 48 month agreement
8,000 miles per year
£9,999 deposit
£1,159 a month inc VAT

Surely a typical BMW huge discount and pcp would be much cheaper?

I'm not sure. They did quote PCP which was the same deposit but £1059 pcm. I've lost a huge amount on my LWB 7 series in 4 years. In hindsight, leasing would have been easier and probably cost me less. I think a new M8 will hemorrhage money over 4 years, maybe not as much as a 7 but still a fair whack. I'm just thinking I don't have the hassle of selling this way and the depreciation may be similar to the lease tco.
