M135i xdrive heated mirrors

Does anyone have an m135i xdrive and wonder whether the door mirrors are actually heated. My recently departed Golf Gti would demist the mirrors in a few minutes. The bmw takes so long that I wonder if they work. Can’t feel the heat. Perhaps it’s such a low setting that it isn’t noticeable. Who knows?!?! Car is so new it can’t be faulty, can it?

(I thought all had heated mirrors nowadays, I knew my E36 did, and my F30 does, and never had any issues other than first thing on the very rare frozen morning)

If it's the same as me 2013 f11, there are a number of things that they are dependant on for them to come on. Ambient temp being one and determines the power at which they come on.

No where near as good as my older e86 which has them on full power all the time, they clear in seconds.
