Hi all,

I have a 320d touring black paint. Have not managed to go to car wash for 2 weeks now and iam getting a lot of dust and mud. I stupidly washed the car with bucket of water and microfiber cloth which I never normally do it that way. Now I ve got quite a lot of swirl marks and few a scratches that are quite deeper than the swirl ones...

What product would you recommend in order to polish those swirl marks and scratches?

Cheers,

mmm-five

If you've done that damage by poor washing skills (I'm the same - even when I try really hard to be careful), then I'd suggest not going for the harsher products or attempting to machine polish yourself.

Wait until the new year when the worst of the pandemic will be over and get a professional detailer (not a facebook valeter) to give it a good machine correction.

Some of mine (BMW Ruby Black)with before & after photos (before is 6 months of fortnightly 2-bucket method washing), after is post detailer (about £250 though).
