Hi guys and gals,

Looking at a new suspension setup for the 240 (wanting to get rid of the slightly bouncy rear end etc etc, you know the drill) and have been primarily looking at the Eibach/Bilstein/Motech setups - 20-25mm drop or so, nothing drastic.

A spanner was thrown in the works recently however when I stumbled across “MSS” and wondered if anyone has any experience of them. There seems to be very limited information online, especially regarding their F22 series setup, but what there is seems to be pretty positive.

Whatever the end result ends up being, I’m going to do it properly and ideally get new shocks and potentially bump stops etc too. MSS seem to come with new bumps anyway which is a plus, but there’s no mention of a matching shock absorber, so I may consider the Bilstein B8 as per the other options.

I’m purely after people’s experiences specifically of the MSS brand products, whether the extra outlay is worth it over the Eibachs, and if they’ve paired it with a shock absorber (or even left the standard ones in!) and how happy they were with their results. I’m not looking to start another Birds/Motech/etc fight 😛

  • For reference, it’s my daily and there’s no track days planned, just the odd spirited B-road blast - so I’d like to keep my backbone in one piece before I hit 30!!
Cheers!!
