Warranty extension during Covid

Last year I bought a 65 plate AUC and the 12 month warranty is up towards the end of June. When I spoke to BMW Warranty when I bought the car they said they would contact me as the warranty approaches the end of its term, is that still the case?
That's what I'll be expecting, for my November 19 bought AUC. There was a 3 month free extension (to June) for warranties that expired in March ; but not relevant to us. But as far as I know, it's "normal" service from June.
No harm in dropping them an email, to check, or seeing if you can log into the BMW warranty site.
You should get preferential rates and option of zero excess, as you're extending without a break in continuity.
Extended to the end of June...

FWIW, I bought a 2 1/2 year old AUC in April 2019, so booked it in for an ‘End of warranty’ check and an MOT, last month.
I was contacted by the service department, to say that the work had obviously been cancelled, but they also pointed out that my BMW warranty, ran out 6 months ago, when the car reached 3 years old.
From what I can work out, I then switched to a zero excess approved warranty for the last 6 months, and was told that no ‘End of warranty check’ is required.
I’ve also bought another approved warranty, which will now start on 1st July, due to the C19 extension. And the lady I bought that from, backed up what the local service department had told me.
So unless I’ve been misinformed, I don’t think you’ll get an End Of Warranty Check, on a 65 plate.
If you do though, please update the thread, so I can have a moan
