First of all I’m not a motor trader....nothing wrong with motor traders but feel I should let people know that this post is me looking for a car for myself.

I’m Looking for an f25 X3 (would consider an X4) 30d or 35d. I’m specifically looking for an Msport trim car with pro media being the main criteria. But would obviously prefer a higher spec car if I can. In terms of colour I’d consider any colour other than red or white.

I’m looking for a car that’s a 15plate or newer. I’d prefer one with a dark interior and obviously would like a car that’s been well looked after (must also be a non smokers car) and has full BMW service history. I’m happy to travel for the right car.

If anyone is thinking of selling or was going to be trading in their car then please get in touch via pistonheads messaging.

The wife’s 2016 X4 30d with 35k miles will be going very soon but it’s white so prob a non-starter. Otherwise it’s Msport with M Plus pack so 20” wheels, HK, and general high spec.

Also got remainder of 5yr service pack but unless we can get £21/21.5k it will be getting VT’d as I set the PCP up just like a lease.

BTW tried both 30d and 35d. Whilst the 35d is a bit quicker and slightly better sounding (for a diesel) there really isn’t much between them. The 35d’s are a lot rarer too which is why we bought an ex-dem 30d.
Been a great family car and will be replaced by the new X4 30d.

whats your budget? my wifes 2017 F25 30d M Sport PCP ends in August, GFV is £22,897.35, its black, milage is about 25k, its got HUD, pro-nav, visibility pack, folding mirrors, apple car play, 20" wheels (new goodyear run flat tyres last october), panoramic roof, black glass and reversing camera, oh and the BMW advanced stereo. theres a service pack on it too, which was a waste of money - thanks lockdown!

Thanks for those who have been in touch about there cars in terms of providing info/feedback & cars coming up for sale.

Bumping this thread up a bit to see if there any other owners of X4s as well as X3s who are considering changing cars or selling.

Update: would now also consider 2.0d as well as the 3.0d & 35d

Think that would be a big mistake, the 30d and 35d are excellent and so well-suited to the heavy X3
