I'm thinking about selling my 335d tourer, as it just doesn't get used very much now we have our little 'lecy runaround, so i thought, i'll pop on the PH/Autotrader and see what they are selling for. Well, duh, i don't know because i can't really find any for sale!!! I am i missing something, i know they are getting on a bit now, but they were popular cars when new. So where does on advertise such a car if it's not on PH/Autotrader??

Owners groups, some pop up on the classifieds. They're also at that age where they tend to be with owners that don't want to sell.

There's a tidy manual facelift model on AT, but it's 12 grand.

They are a bit thin on the ground, but there's some on eBay - and plenty on Facebook, which is (imo) the new go-to car sales site.

I post this as someone who bought an E91 335d off Facebook earlier in the year.

EDIT - I think the pricing is a bit all over the shop, though. I've seen £4.5k for a cat-car up to £10k for an LCI model. I wonder what they actually sell for...

There is potentially something up with the miles on that one, it looks to have switched between miles and Km’s on the MOT’s, but I can’t get it to tally up, maybe it’s my maths.... I thought it would have been snapped up by now.

As you say, the few i can find for sale have asking prices all over the shop! From something like 7k right up to 12k, a really wide spread.

Mines an 11 plater, 2 owners (ive had it 8 years! wow, where did they go??) with 66k miles, and i have no idea what to put it up for or where to sell it. One option is that it's replacement might be a F80 M3, so i guess i could part-ex for that, but i bet the book value is derisory (because it'll get lumped with the 320ds by non-specialist valuers....)

Ooh, I hadn't noticed that. Maybe a tester was cack handed with the KM instead of Miles when noting the mileage at MOT time.
