Speak to Jimmy at CableShack and see what he suggests

Or you could look into Carly for BMW; look on their website and see what capability their coding has for the E56

Pa soft 1.4 is a cheap easy way to do it. Carly does the same, costs more. Other BMW factory software can do it too, but it’s fiddly at first.
