Long story short - both the centre console and armrest cigarette lighter sockets stopped working (2012 X3 - F25).

I changed fuse 54 as that one had gone before, and it fixed the centre console socket, but I couldn't see any other blown fuses.

The fuse box appears to have a number of choices ..... 65 seems the best option, anyone had the same issue?

I have the same problem on a E60.

They have different fuses to prevent overload.

On mine I managed to fix the lighter but can’t get the two in the back working.

Sorry I can’t be any help.

Do you mean the one for the rear passengers or the one in the centre armrest?

Looks like it's fuse 65 in the same fusebox, a 15A one.
