Last minute life saver check... 440i Gran Coupe
Discussion
I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a BMW Approved Used 440i, late 2017 model. It has everything I want - MSport Plus Pack, Innovation Pack, wireless phone charging, etc etc. Great spec. B58 engine of course.
The "problem" is the mileage is a bit higher than average - around 33,000. I know that's not considered a high mileage car by any stretch - my old E92 330i had 100k miles on.
This is reflected in the price of course and buying from BMW adds a little bit more confidence.
I want to own the car for four years and I do around 6000 miles a year - am I being silly by even making this thread?!

I bought my 335i touring in 2009 at two years old, 60k miles and I was the 6th registered keeper, private sale. At the time I did about 16k a year.
I still have it now at 151k. Lots would have been put off due to miles and number of owners but it has been, and still is a fantastic car.
Get it bought.

Sell it before you get to 60k miles and the new owner can do the insured warranty on a monthly basis at a cheapish price. The "problem" is the mileage is a bit higher than average - around 33,000. I know that's not considered a high mileage car by any stretch - my old E92 330i had 100k miles on.

You will just about be there at 4 years old.
Enjoy!
They're an awesome car. I've got one! You NEED the MPPSK in your life though.
Wouldn't worry about the mileage - the B58 seems to be fairly reliable. I've done 27k in mine over 2 and a bit years and it's been spot on.
Replacing it next month, but only for an m340i as I love the engine!
Can I ask how much it's up for please as I may try to sell mine rather than handing it back.

I need to wait until my house purchase completes in a couple of weeks time to actually buy it, but I'm going to hold the one I want. Pictures will be posted of course.
I'm excited because I only got to test drive a 420i at my local dealership and had to just imagine it being fast.
You’re in for a massive treat if a 420i is your benchmark!! Night and day. The same goes for the LCI cars v pre LCI cars in terms of handling & ride in my experience. Coupe’s in my case though rather than Gran Coupe’s. I'm excited because I only got to test drive a 420i at my local dealership and had to just imagine it being fast.

Looks identical to mine, apart from mines got the bigger MPPSK exhaust
Watch the bolsters on the white leather - I've got excessive wear on mine after 27k miles and BMW won't touch it under warranty.
Lovely cars though - mines going up for sale this month or will go to Sytner / VT'd and I'll miss it.
