BMW E38 Seat Backs - are they interchangeable?

I am looking to freshen up BMW E38 sport interior.

I'm quite lucky, as I have the considered rare, half leather half alcantara interior.

My question is, are the sport / contour / comfort seats backs all interchangeable? Ideally I would like to fit the nicer map pocket style, to my current seats?

IIRC the rears are, fronts you’ll need to check

Cross reference a the part numbers on RealOEM if you can, that’ll soon tell you

I'm only talking about changing the sport seat backs for the the map pocket associated to the comfort & contour seats.

I'm keeping my sport leather/alcantatra interior.

Ah sorry pal; misread...

Hmm... No idea I'm sorry. Do they bolt off, bolt on or are they held on with clips etc?

Would have thought the overall shape is the same; could be wrong though
