Where to buy new wheels (1 series)

The wheels on my 1 series coupe are way past their best and have been welded so many times that rather than refurb them they really need replacing

Originally I was saving up for a set of genuine bmw replacements but due to current circumstances don’t want to be spending £1500 or so before tyres.

Is there anywhere I can get a decent quality set of 18’’ wheels for around £500-600 ?

You could get a good
Genuine used set on eBay for that price - that’s where I would be looking,

I’m guessing you have 18 or 19 inch ? If you go for 17” m sport - they are not known for cracking and they look pretty good too on the coupe

Or speak to the folks at BMAutosport. They’re great to deal with & will have plenty of alloys for you to choose from.

I’d advise not running run flat tyres either

You could get a good set of used wheels.

I paid £150 for some 2 series wheels for my other half’s E87. Admittedly they’re uncool 16’s but they cane with good tyres and are straight, no cracks etc.
