Looking at buying G11 7 series

Hi all,

Any ownership experiences of the above please?

I’m looking at buying a 730d probably, preferably M sport, around 2017, 25-35k miles. Budget £25k. I’ll be buying it and keeping 5 years+

Most 740d’s / 740i’s are out of budget or high mileage

I have owned BMW’s before so fairly familiar with options etc. I think they all come with pro nav. I would like HUD and parking camera. I think these are fairly well equipped as standard

Anything to look out for on a car of this type or era?

I have had the same 3.0d engine in an F25 X3 and it was solid and smooth. Wanting a step up in comfort and refinement. Also considering an S class in the same price range
