Service history error at indie in NW London

Background: I had my service done at an indie in NW London a few months ago. Unfortunately the guy did not notice my mileage was in km and entered in the computer the mileage at the service date in miles. So basically when I picked up my car the computer was showing in the service history a mileage higher than the car's actual mileage. I asked him to fixed it, he was quite clueless and pretty much told me it was my fault as "no one in this country has their mileage in km". It took him a week or so to get back to me to tell me they had fixed the history on BMW's website but I had to bring the car in to update my computer. Unfortunately there was the lockdown and I could not bring the car back. I contacted them in July but they have still not given me an appointment as I guess there's nothing in it for them.

My question: If I take my car to BMW for an MOT, will the computer be updated automatically?

I think you know the answer. Sounds like you need to book your car into BMW and see if they can fix it.
