Any E60/E61 experts on here? Newby questions..

Hi everyone, I picked up an E61 530d M sport LCI yesterday. It's had e 270bhp map and dpf delete, not sure about the swirl flaps until I check. Anyway it drives great, despite having done 180k miles but some initial thoughts which I hope you guys might be able help with.
1) when I unlock it with the fob the xenon's (it's got the adaptive lights) flicker a bit then come on-any common faults? Bulbs, ballast? Something else?
2) also when locking/unlocking it beeps-had a look in the idrive menu but can't see a way to turn off the audible signal. Is that a plug in job?
3) auto gearbox gearchanges are not as smooth as I'd expected, it's not horrendous but it doesn't seem quite right. Gear oil and filter change time? What's the consensus on resetting the adaptations afterwards, I've heard mixed views.
Thanks🙂

I had oil change in mine and it improved but it wasn't awful prior. I didn't realise it could get better but there was an improvement. Most noticeable at higher end of rev range. I did it for peace of mind really as it had 100k on the clock. Now that I am a bit older and wiser I'd be tempted to attempt this myself. I dont think you need to replace the sump - as everyone does. I'd try to pump as much as the old fluid out as poss and leave the sump in situ. Then top off with new. Job jobbed.

The beeps on lock/unlock can be coded out with Carly as can the xenons coming on when unlocking.
I’m in the SE and could code those out for you if you are local’ish
That's kind of you, I'm in High Wycombe if that's anywhere near close! I'm not too worried about the xenon's coming on with unlocking I'm just worried there's a problem with the flicker..I’m in the SE and could code those out for you if you are local’ish

Yeah I'm going to do it myself, I'm an ex mechanic so I should be able to dust off the tools.. I think the filter is part of the plastic sump so I'll just do the whole thing at once, might as well do some seals too (as I'm now a Google expert!)I had oil change in mine and it improved but it wasn't awful prior.
