Guys apparently I have a cracked rim - and have been quoted over £700 for a new one. Is there a reputable OEM BMW supplier on here by chance? Aware I could get secondhand but it's the family wagon and want to play it safe.

How cracked is cracked? A decent wheel refurb company will generally get it sorted and refurbed for you for hell of a lot less than the price of a new one...

Time to start using non-RFT tyres too wink

I agree with that one, I'm sure its the runflats that cracked my wheels, such a shallow and hard wall. I'm on ordinary tyres now and the ride is so much better, it doesn't crash over the smallest of bumps... But with regards refurb though, you gen get any decent company to refurb a whole set of wheels for 5-£600.. Even on ebay there are whole sets of refurbed BM wheels for way lass than a grand. just shop about and keep us posted

Slightly off topic but do you need a set of 18" winters with tyres?

Could be a good move that.

Get the winters on, take the cracked alloy in for repair or keep watching on ebay over winter for one to crop up cheap.
