Local garage near Crawley to work on an E46?

As above really, can anyone recommend a local garage near Crawley that they are happy to let loose on their middle-aged BMW? 2 local ones I've tried make me nervous, but the specialist indy I was recommended want £90 p.h. for labour, so, hmm...

If all you want is basic non-BMW specific spannering, some folks say
Webbers in Spindle Way are good.
