Try carwow
This time of year some dealers will be keen sell especially if they can find you and BMW UK stock car

thanks custardkid that's exactly where I got this offer. Carwow has it at 35k if I go on bmw configurator it comes up to 44k so I think the dealer have knocked off quite a bit

Sounds like that'll be competitive

May be worth giving Lloyd group or Steven James a call. They have been competitive previously
Or TRL although I think you have to speak to him directly not via Barron's

Apologies, I was thinking that 5's had leather and Met paint as standard.

How many miles per year?

I bought a new 540i msport touring in March, 12k a year, £19k final payment and mine is £440 a month over 48.

If you don’t mind me asking, what deposit did you put down?

I p/ex’d my broken Merc ml. They gave me £3k for it, but It was probably worth a load less (i was going to scrap it!) plus a £500 initial deposit.

The dealer also put in £7k plus I got a nice discount from BMW.

It’s all done on paper, moving figures around.

Nice, seems like a good deal. I’ve driven my dad’s 530d a lot and love the G30. I’m looking for a commuting car to cover circa 25k miles per year and I’m torn between a 530d and 540i.

Hope you’re enjoying your car smile

I’d say you need to get a drive in a 540i, it’s very different to the 530d. I much prefer the engine and handling of my 540, but fuel economy isn’t really an important factor for me.

I originally put an order in for a 530d, but the dealer cocked up my order, they had this in stock so did me a good deal.

Would be tempted to spend the extra on the 530d . Much nicer engine

Also looks like the diesel and petrol are same price
So if your not taking the risk. Get the diesel
