I hired a lift today to do some jobs on my 2006 e92. I’ve polybushed the diff bushings and changed the rear prop doughnut. I wanted to replace the prop centre bearing which requires the removal of the exhaust and heat shields. To do this there’s a brace that needs removing first. The from part is held up to the body with 8 torx bolts. These I found were absolutely seized solid, snapped a torx bit trying to get one out. Anybody had this and have the answer?

try wd40, impact driver, heat. If that doesnt work grind or drill heads off.

These might work if you could hammer on the closest fit over the heads.
