Can anyone please recommend companies that can strengthen the rear subframe on the M Coupe?

Depends where you are located, I mean would you travel to Bristol, if you live in Scotland? But Redish motorsport (in Bristol) is well known locally and beyond for modifying E46 M3 subframes, they can't be that dissimilar surely?

Thanks Andy. Yes they do have a good rep. From what I've heard, worth travelling to for the work.

His is a complete upgrade though, I think its thousands as the e46 M3 was known to fail? but I've recently learned that plenty of other places offer similar upgrades... maybe ask some local decent BMW indies for details, I suppose it depends what you are after. I'm a welder if that helps. he he he :-)

Not really. The body shop checked it and it was fine.

This is a repair that all e30/e36/e46 based cars should get done. A weak point in the cars.
It's well documented..

I wouldn’t worry about it if it’s ok . Try not to believe everything you see on the discovery channel .

Good point. There's a fair amount of paranoia on these.
