The separate Nav/Comm/Ent owner's manual is missing from the driver's pack and the selling dealer says he has not got it ! ?
Car is 2015 Active Tourer 225i Xdrive F45. Does anyone know the BMW part number for this booklet and/or if the same booklet is common across other BMW models (Gran Tourer probably ?). This will broaden the ebay search.
I realise I can use the idrive intuitively/guesswork but so much easier with instructions to read separately.
My first BMW so on a vertical learning curve.
Many thanks.
Brian.

From very briefly loaning one (a 2016) it’s iDrive including Sat navigation etc, was the same set up as all similarly classed F series cars.
Some more upmarket BMWs would get a later version of iDrive first. But otherwise generic.
I’d guess any user manual would be badged either Active and Grand Tourer or maybe 2 series.

I have a 2017 3 series and it’s all contained in the main manual. I did think the separate manual was ceased , but it seems not.

Might the site Baby BMW offer more help , maybe more owners on there?

I didn’t get any books with my 2016 AUC.

There’s an owners manual on the idrive and there’s a specific ‘Driver’s guide’ app for the vehicle, after I entered the VIN.

I didn’t even realise they still did paperwork.

Many thanks for the replies and information/tips etc.
I have now found a partial answer in that BMW Customer Services have sent me a Digital copy so I now have the information. It just means taking the laptop or iPad out to the car to have a play with the settings, not quite what I wanted but still very useful.
It appears that BMW no longer produce a paper book although at the time of manufacture in 2015 the Owner's Handbook refers to one. Ebay has a lot of them but I have no idea which are even partially compatible to the car so the digital copy will have to suffice.
Just a further point, I tried two other dedicated BMW forums and had a zero response so thanks again for the above replies. I am used to Japanese cars and the associated forums there are really active and helpful.
Cheers
Brian.

As above has suggested the best user manual is the BMW Driver Guide App - either go to the App Store or google store.

Then you input your VIN number and you then have the complete user guide. It will only show information for your car and options. You will not have anything that your car does not have.
