2016 330e, high mileage??

I am looking at buying a 2016 330e, with around 90k on the clock.

What are these like in terms of reliability?

What’s the likelihood of the batteries giving up the ghost?

If they are anything like e36's, e46's and e90's, the rocker cover gasket may need doing soon, possibly clutch but that may have been done. Oh, sump gasket is another, oil breather hose may need cleaning. All those thing I have had done on various versions and seem to be common issues, or I had receipts to say they have been done. My e92 I have now is suffering as a lot of the things are going for the first time as it is lower mileage than I normally buy. So at the mileage of the one you want, check to see. But like I said this is assuming that 2016 models suffer the same usual faults. I just replaced my battery at 88k and that wasn't the original, but on my old e 90 it lasted well over 100k and that was the original I was told by my mechanic so that can vary too.

Unless you can afford a really new car with low mileage I recon just over 100k is great. Most of my cars were and they were more reliable than the one I have now which had 84k when I got it. Everything seems to be going for the first time and I'm facing some big bills..I just had clutch done, I got 600 quids worth of oil leaks to do soon, and I'm waiting on injectors to pack up and high pressure fuel pump etc etc. good luck with it. Check to see what's been spent so far by the current owner
