Been Googling like hell but can't find a scissor jack for roadside use which will fit the rectangular female jacking point on our X1 F48.

Lots look like they should fit, with this kind of pad...

Or this...

But there's no confirmation in the ads for any of these.

I realise I can buy a rubber puck to fit in the jacking point, but surely by now someone must have made one for the... one or two BMWs on the road?

Or even just for our X1, with 8 punctures in two years!

Has anyone found one which fits, other than the BMW one for £133? I was thinking more like £15-20.

Thanks for any info.

If your jacking point is the same shape as an E46/90/60 etc you could just buy a used jack from eBay.

Buy a normal scissor jack off Amazon or Ebay and an adapter ...or as I did a low level trolley jack and adapter . No issues at all. I also bought a BMW jack for not much more cost off Ebay.

I bought an E46 3 Series scissor jack from Quarry Motors (they break BMWs) and it has fitted fine on my E86 and E90. You can't usually get them out of later models because they all came on run-flats so there was no jack!

Failing that use any scissor jack and buy a jacking pad like this:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282802142992?mkevt=1&am...

2016 2.0d xLine xDrive Auto.

I've since bought one of these: https://x8r.co.uk/rubber-jacking-point-jack-pad-ad...

Picked up the space saver and tyre from Sytner Saturday (£135 - genuine part as car under extended warranty)
Picked up a genuine wheel brace off eBay.

Just need a flat topped scissor jack now. Will get one tomorrow.

The E53 X5 had a scissor jack that might just fit .
