330i service advice

So I am about to bite the bullet and buy a 330i touring - 2017 with just 10k on the clock (from a BMW dealer).

I need to understand about service costs I might see as I have been stung by my local BMW dealer before in this area.

Can anyone offer advice on any links or a breakdown of intervals / inspections to help me understand costs ahead of me and when I might see them.

The mileage seems low which whilst good - I have asked them to verify this.

From what I understand it should of had its first service after 2 years, and if following the schedule it should of had a brake fluid change and general check after 3 years.

Ongoing I have seen advice suggesting I should change oil and filters every 10,000 miles - is this a guide I should follow ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Condition based servicing, it will depend on your driving style and type of journeys

Generally the default is 2 years or 20,000 miles oil and filters

Brake fluid 3 years from date of registration then every two years

Every 4 years an "inspection" basically dealer charging £80to visually check the car

Personally i change oil and filter every year or about 10k

The i drive should give you the service history and what is due next and when

Admittedly a different engine (well, a bigger version of the same engine), but my F31 340i had its first service in Jan this year. September 2018 car and started bleating about an oil change in December 2020. 11k miles. Cost was around £350 main dealer for the first service which as far as I could tell was an oil change and general check-up.

I did a 5k oil service on it myself so was a bit of a pain having to pay £350 for the pleasure of a "FBMWSH"
