Are all F15 X5 Euro 6?

As the title really...

Looking at potentially getting an F15 30d, I thought only post sept 15 cars were euro 6 but using the filter on autotrader some MY14 X5s are showing as ULEZ compliant.

Only asking as I don't really want a non euro 6 due to potential residual risk, but decent MY15 cars are at the top end of the budget whereas there are more options getting a MY14.

The 30d engines were Euro 6 compliant from 14 onwards I think but were only put through the Euro 5 tests at the time. I think you can apply manually for the car to be added to the ULEZ compliance system. And you can put the reg in the ULEZ site and check if compliant.

Okay great thanks for that.

It does actually make sense, I had in my head that manufacturers suddenly rushed to add in the euro 6 compliance with the MY15 cars, I guess they all knew it was coming and planned it into the release cycles of the various models

Good luck with your purchase, I've just picked up a 2015 40d Msport to replace my 640d.

So far very pleased with it..

Congrats! What spec did you go for?

I'm not looking for too much, only definite are an upgraded sound system and black, I really fancy pan roof as well budget around £25k AUC which seems to be 2014 models on 50kish miles.

Mine's an AUC car, i went for the 40d Msport as my previous 640d had the same engine as it's no less efficient than the 30d, I was quite fussy on spec, spent alot of time on the AUC site looking for the right one. The Spec is as follows :

Carbon black
American oak with ivory white/Black leather interior
Cold weather pack
M sport plus pack (20 inch alloys, Sun protect glass, Head up display, HK speaker system, Speed limit display)
Adaptive headlights
Pano roof
7 seats option (Didn't really want this option but most come with them)
Surround view and reversing camera

I looked at a 2014 730d recently and it was only euro 5.
