I bought an i3s a few months back and really like the car. It is really nippy, has a decent range and I like the quirky looks.

The one gripe is the crashy ride, which sadly was common to many non-//M BMWs and Minis we have owned in the past.

Been trawling the internet hoping there was a magic solution, but can’t find anything. Just thought I would check if any other owners have managed to improve the ride quality on this model?

I notice your other tyre related thread, are they normal tyres or run flats?

I don’t think the i3 has run-flat tyres... shame as the switch to non-RFTs transformed my JCW!

I don't think there are any aftermarket suspension offerings, and litle available in terms of other tyres.

The only thing you can do is play around with the tyre pressure a bit, ours runs slightly lower than the recommended amount, better for comfort if not economy.

Thanks for that. Yes I haven’t seen anything either.

Shame as it’s just a great car, just annoying that the ride is a little crashy. I guess more a function of our rubbish roads!
