2019 5 Series - Anyone had a problem with keys going flat?

Car is 18 months old, 10,000 miles.
Half the time it doesn't unlock or lock and I have to stand there pressing the button multiple times.
On the dash, it kept coming up that the battery needed to be replaced, so I changed the battery for a brand new one. All was fine for about a week, until the error came back and so did the problem.
Tried the spare key, same issue.
Anyone had a problem similar to this before? Or do I just keep buying new batteries every week....
