Connected+ being discontinued

Hello, I just tried to renew the subscription to connected+ (I find being able to send destinations from my phone to the car really helpful, as half the time iDrive alone can't seem to find them) - but got an error on the BMW website. I reached out to support to be told that they are discontinuing connected+ .

Wondering if anyone knows more and if being able to send addresses to the nav from the app will be supported in another way? Going to be a pain to lose this function. I've got a late 2018 car, so don't expect it's specfic to older vehicles etc.

I didn't think you needed a subscription.

I sent a destination to my car only this morning.

I know the old Connected app is being disconnected (it keeps telling me when I open it) but there is nothing to say that the actual services will be affected.

Just tried sending a destination on the new ‘My BMW’ app, and it’s working fine.

All working fine on my 2016 car, recently the iPhone app was updated and that need downloading and now called My BMW
