Any tips for cleaning the side steps? Mine are pretty grubby.
I've tried brasso and pink stuff which has got a lot of the surface dirt and grime off, but would like to get them a nice even, clean finish all over if possible

Wire wool and/or metal polish seems to be the solution.

I've used this to clean up a grimy exhaust. I added a bit of Grade 0000 steel wool for extra aggression.

Thanks for that - hadn’t realised the black bits could be removed, that will make it a lot easier
