612BHP and 0-60 in 4.4 seconds.

It is bloody quick, but does not feel at all edgy. Massively competent car, and very quiet. In traffic the ride is plush, but it is incredibly surefooted when run hard. Amazing acceleration.

The thing is BIG:

Of course has the trademark Alpina wheels which I have always liked..no valve stems visible

Interior is very comfortable and superbly finished and has some buttons instead of all touch screens. (My Panamera ST is afflicted with touch screens which always look dirty.)

Interesting - rear lift back is split, and there is a button to lower the vehicle for loading, and one to close up both doors simiultaneously

I am not a fan of the huge blunt truck-like front ends these days

Overall if you want something with a vast interior, great long-distance capability and tons of performance it is an interesting vehicle. Not cheap and is a very rare sight on the road (like most Alpinas)
Fits into a narrow slot..not an M car, not a Bentley but somewhere in between. If I had a bunch of kids and needed three rows it might make some sense.

I’ve never seen an Alpina that looks under-wheeled before.

Actually thought that myself. Driving it I was considering if I could block the Suez Canal
